On September 26, 2018, the City held a ceremony at our Park Pavilion celebrating the lighting of our downtown water tower.
Many thanks go out to the following people who joined us and made this a great event—Type A Community Development Corporation members and their families, Public Works Director Steve Dane for setting up everything and providing his drone service for this event, Helen Smith Jump for letting us use her speaker system for the music chosen from 2001: A Space Odyssey, Larry Howard for photos, and our special Sugar Plum Fairy for providing the delicious homemade cookies!
This is a continuing service provided by our Type A board to market our city for the future. Thank you all who came out and was part of this community event.
